New Employees
St. Anthony

Melonie Fisher joined the parts department in St. Anthony in March as Rick Davis leaves for a deployment to Afghanistan. Melonie has over 10 years of experience in ag parts working for a New Holland dealership and most recently for Pioneer Equipment. She is doing an excellent job and we are glad to have her with us.

John Scafe joined the service department in St. Anthony in March. John has 25+ years of service experience working for ag dealerships. Most recently he was with Pioneer Equipment in Rexburg, Idaho. John is a hay machinery specialist and will be a great addition to the team.

Nyssa

Ron Koehn joined the parts department in Nyssa in March. Ron is new to the agriculture equipment business but has years of farming experience. He will be a great addition to the team as he learns the business.

Burley

Steven Bendele joined the parts department in Burley In April. Steve is new to the business and will be working as the runner/assistant to the parts department. He will be a great addition as he learns the business

Roosevelt

It is now official, Agri-Service has signed the dealer agreement to become the Challenger dealer in Northern Utah. The agreement basically gives us all of the counties North of Santaquin, Utah to sell and service machinery in. We are also allowed to sell Massey Ferguson, etc in these areas as well. We are looking for a physical location in the Roosevelt area right now but in the mean time we will run a mobile parts and service facility to service those customers.

Dale Betts has joined the parts/service department in Roosevelt. Dale has 25+ years of experience in the agricultural equipment business that includes parts, service and store management. He will be handling parts sales and service writing for us in Roosevelt as well as turning a wrench as needed.

Ken Betts has joined the service department in Roosevelt. Ken has been a service technician for a 10 years now. He has become a very reliable mechanic in this short time and we are glad he chose to join us. Ken will be our primary mechanic in the Roosevelt area as we start the new store.


AGRI-SERVICE now employee owned

Farm equipment dealership, Agri-Service, headquartered in Twin Falls, Idaho is now employee owned. Cleve Buttars, owner and founder of Agri-Service, said , "I have been looking into having my business become employee owned for a few years, and the timing just seems right."  With eight locations in Idaho, Utah, and Oregon and approximately 150 employees, Agri-Service is one of the largest farm equipment dealerships in the nation, and the largest AGCO brand (Massey Ferguson, Hesston, Gleaner) retailer in North America.

Buttars made the surprise announcement in a letter to employees and suppliers, and the new owners all met at Canyon Ridge High School auditorium on February 20th to celebrate.
